One of the most popular and most visited treks of India, Kedarkantha. Situated in the Garhwal Region of Uttarakhand, Kedarkantha is famous for its sunrise trek. The place is considered the best from November to February when it is covered with snow. Kedarkantha is situated at 12,500 ft and one can reach here after a trekking distance of 20kms, this trek is suitable for all age groups and a dream for all.

The journey begins from Ahmedabad, all the participants need to reach the Ahmedabad railway station. This will be an overnight journey comprising a total of 27 hours journey by train. You can explore the views and find new mates during the travel.
After reaching Haridwar railway station, will proceed towards hotel. After refreshment, participants can go for sightseeing to different places in Haridwar. Ganga Aarti, Temples, Cafe’s, Markets are the key attractions among them.
The participants to go back to their room to start the long journey towards Sankri, the next day.
In the morning, you start on a drive from Haridwar to the beautiful village of Sankri. This drive will take you through the sidelines of the Yamuna, River Tons, and parts of Pine forests.
For Dehradun To Dehradun

Travel Time: Approx 8 hours
Sankri to Sankri participants needs to report by 5 PM directly at Kotgaon Campsite.
Upon reaching Sankri, you will stay overnight in a camp with a clear sky overhead for stargazing.
After having a palatable breakfast at the campsite, the group will set out for the hike. After walking to Saur village, the climb will begin for a small pond called Juda-ka-Talab.
Trek Duration: 3-4 hrs trek
You’ll pass through some Pinetrees, vast green meadows and freshwater streams. The night stay will be in tents.
Your destination for the day is Kedarkantha Base Camp situated at the height of 2800 meters. The trail will pass through snow-laden paths with a few green patches glowing in between. On reaching the base camp, you’ll stay on the ground blanketed with snow and nestled with trees on all fronts.
Day 4 marks the start of the steep climb in the path fully engulfed by snow for reaching the majestic summit of Kedarkantha at the height of 12,500 ft. Starting as early as 2 AM is recommended as the trek itself will require 7-8 hours. You’ll witness the holy mountains of Yamunotri, Gangotri and Kailash Kinnerrange.
After spending almost 1-2 hours, witnessing one of the best sunrise of life, we will start descending back to our basecamp.
Enjoy the delicious breakfast at the base camp As you descend to Sankri village, get ready to listen to some interesting local stories shared by your guide Continue on the trail and admire the views of the snowcapped peaks of the Himalayas.
After a mouth-watering lunch, board the vehicle and start driving back towards Dehradun Arrive in Dehradun by around late afternoon or evening Kedarkantha trek package ends here with beautiful memories.
After finishing their breakfast in the morning, participants can enjoy for free half-day in Haridwar till the Afternoon and need to report directly at the railway station.
